Randle Jackson, Jr., was born on March 3, 1933, to Irene Jackson and Randle Jackson, Sr., in Lexington, Texas. He attended public schools and graduated from Dunbar High School then later went to Paul Quinn College. Randle joined the United States Army in 1953, where he served in the Korean War. He united with Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Temple, TX. Randle owned and operated Jigasaw Lounge and Hotel for a number of years. He also worked in numerous jobs throughout his life, which includes Sears Roebuck, Temple Police Department, Sammons Golf Course, and City of Temple Animal Control from which he retired. Randle was very active in his life. He loved playing golf, dominoes, and checkers with his buddies at the Friendship House, V.F.W. and V.A. He loved to ride his bike all over town until he was 84. Randle also competed in the Senior Games all over the United States. He won numerous medals and awards in dominoes, checkers, ping pong, and more. Randle was married to Johnnie Mae Jackson. Randle was the second of five children and was the last living sibling. Randle died peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2022, in Temple, Texas. Randle was preceded in death by his mother and father, Irene and Randle; siblings, Tim Jackson, James Jackson, Ernest Jackson, and Bernice Boykins; wife, Johnnie Mae; and stepdaughter, Janice Murphy. Left to cherish his precious memories: his daughter, Alicia Jackson (Devonn) of Temple, Texas; son, Randle Jackson III of Temple, Texas; grandchildren (which whom he was also a father figure), Reginald Clark, Jr., Lezsha Clark, Tyronese Collins, Tylicia Collins, Randle Killingsworth, and Tyrone Collins, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Reginald III, Rylee, Jaylon, Kameron, and Kyndall; and he also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
