Elnora Johnson Clark came to the end of her Christian journey at the age of 86 on May 26, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 3, 1935, in Moody, Texas to the parentage of Lonnie and Willie Ellen Johnson.

Elnora accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She later became an active participant of Peaceful Rest Baptist Church in Moody, Texas. At Peaceful Rest Baptist, she faithfully served the Mission sisterhood and food committee. She began collecting dimes which were donated to Peaceful Rest Missionary yearly for over 30 years. She was determined to increase the amount of her donation each year by gently persuading her family members to surrender their dimes.

Elnora was united in Holy Matrimony to Ray Lee Clark on May 22,1955 at Hopewell Baptist Church Reverend J. L. Clark. to this union three children were born. They were happily married for forty-eight years. She enjoyed being a homemaker and dedicated to taking care of her family the rest of her entire life. She gained great joy in preparing meals from scratch which was her labor of love.
In 1967, she became a faithful member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was a member of the choir, served on the Food Committee, Deaconess, School Leader, Mother of the Church, and in various other capacities. Elnora remained a faithful member for sixty-five years until a decline in her health.

Elnora leaves to cherish her memories two sons Benny Ray Clark of Henderson, Texas, Billy Clark of Dallas, Texas, two daughter Diane Clark of Dallas, Texas, Sandra Kay Clark of Balch Springs, Texas grandchildren Cory Johnson of Dallas, Texas, Sandra K. Clark, and Tamara Clark both from Henderson, Texas, three great grandchildren two great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, relatives, and friends.
